Critique of iPad 2 and experience using it.

By John Spiers

Apple's iPad 2 is an amazing and sleek yet terribly functional tablet. The tablet is only about 0.34" that makes it unbelievably thin. Despite the decrease in size matched against the 1st iPad, the hardware that comes along with the iPad 2 is improved. It is packing an A5 dual core processor that can reach fantastic speeds of at least 1GHz.

The iPad 2 engineers has made its battery charge lifespan last longer. It will give the longest battery charge lifespan amongst all of the other tablets out in the market. So don't even think about buying up one of those Android-based tablets at those bankrupt stock for sale websites. The A5 dual core processor chip helps to accomplish this job since both processors are sharing the affairs of the device unlike with a single core processor that takes up to much energy because all activities are blocked by that one core.

The tablet would run in iOS 4.3 however it can be upgraded to iOS 5 which is the most recent and most reliable software ever developed. The iOS 5 allows multi-touch functions to work in the iPad 2. By housing an A5 dual core processor, which can reach speeds of up to 1GHz it, will surely give a quicker and more enhanced performance compared to other tablets. It might also be having a 512MB ram which will increase the high speed processing quality of the tablet.

The iPad 2 has a 1024 x 768, 9.7" display and it's built in with the retina display. The retina display offers a very high impact display having 4x as much pixels in the screen. It would result to a crisp and wonderfully clear display that makes pixels unnoticeable by the human eye

It has a built in rear camera which can pack videos of at least 720p at 30fps and can take footage with digital zoom features of almost 5x. The front camera is a VGA quality camera that gives optimal results.

Once updated with the latest iOS 5 software, the iCloud technology can store and retrieve photographs, videos, music and applications without storing them in the device's memory.

With the features being said my personal experience with the iPad 2 has been incredible. With all its features and the wide range of applications that you can download for free or maybe applications that need payment, each and every app suits everything I need and I never become bored in any way. Whenever I am going to work, a fast placement of my wireless headphones and I hear calming music. Whenever there is nothing to do, I grab my iPad 2 and play games such as Temple Run, Fruit Ninja, iAssociate, and lots more games. I even use my iPad 2 for work. I edit my files, review and study my reports and projects.
